Robert Klein waved the media over, as he was have a laugh with Matt Glantz and Steve Gross.  Rob wanted the blog to mention Glantz getting in 50 bigs pre with 10 10 against the Q Q of Gross.  Glantz would flop a set (and river a flush for good measure), and now has over 510,000.

After losing the hand, Gross is down to 120,000.

Steve Gross

Steve "Gboro780" Gross went undetected throughout the entire Day 1C, ending up bagging 344,500.  Just another solid player managing his way through to Day 2…not so much.  Gross is widely known as one of the best online players ever, with over $6,500,000 in total online earnings, and over $1,400,000 in live tournament earnings!

Plain and simple, somehow one of the most accomplished players in the field made it an entire day without being noticed by the media.  Gross is currently seated at Table 49 with the likes of Matt Glantz, Jeff Gross, John Allan Hinds, and Mike Azzarro.

Big Stax 1500 (Day 2): Play Resumes At 12:00pm

Players will begin arriving at about 11:45am to begin unbagging their chips, and live coverage of Day 2 will begin at exactly 12:00pm.  The action will last until we have reached a final table, or until the end of Level 23.

At 3:00pm we will also bring you coverage of the first ever heads-up event, with the draw for the bracket beginning at approximately 30-45 minutes prior to the tournament.
